Available at the health fair are the following free health screenings:
• Blood pressure checks
• Urine screening for protein
(with health care professionals available to offer counseling)
• Comprehensive blood work
• BMIs (Body Mass Index)

• Men requesting a Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) who are at least age 45 or have a hereditary prostate cancer risk will receive the test at NO COST.

Blood work requires 8-hour fasting (meaning NO food but
drink plenty of water ONLY before screening) and take
prescribed medications if it is safe to do so. Please register today at: and enter client code: AAAHF.  If you have any questions or problems registering, please call 866.367.6974.  Registration will close at noon on 03/08/19.  


The African American Heath Fair is
held each year in partnership with
other community agencies,
volunteers and faith communities.
The health fair is FREE and OPEN
TO ALL. We highly encouraged
everyone in the community to
participate in the screenings and
visit with local vendors.

Local organizations and vendors
are strongly urged to set up an
